Manufacturing of Fine Diamonds

Berkeley & Co provides the finest cutting & polishing service to all of its clients via its Namibian joint venture partnerships based in Windhoek enabling us to provide a reliable and constant supply of polished stones of any cut, colour, clarity and carat weight according to our client's demands.

Boasting an advanced manufacturing infrastructure, Berkeley & Co uses a scanning device to get 3D computer models of the rough diamonds. Locations of inclusions and flaws are incorporated into the 3D model, which is then used to find an optimal way to cut each stone – thereby maximizing yield and weight retention. Additionally Berkeley & Co employs state-of-the-art diamond processing technologies during the cleaving, bruting, blocking and polishing stages of production.

Our attention to detail and rigorous quality control ensures the production of diamonds with an exquisite appearance and an intense brilliance.

Our Facility is equipped to cut and polish from 0.25 to 10 carat stones with the supply of rough diamonds coming from Berkeley & Co. Quantities of rough diamonds of all colours and carat weights are cut & polished to client specifications. Berkeley & Co is currently exploring femtosecond laser cutting technology for the future production of cut & polished diamonds.
