Republic of Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe is home to the Murowa diamond mine (owned and operated by the Rio Tinto Group Plc) and the vast Marange diamond fields (owned and operated by the Zimbabwe Mining Development Corporation). Diamonds from the Murowa diamond mine and the Marange diamond fields are Kimberley Process certified.

Republic of Angola

Berkeley & Co has a strong and supportive relationship with the Sociedade de Comercialização de Diamantes de Angola (SODIAM). SODIAM is the diamond purchasing & sales arm of Empresa de Diamantes de Angola (ENDIAMA), the national diamond company of Angola.

Additionally Berkeley & Co sources rough diamonds from Namibia & Botswana.
